We also offer the opportunity to retake the course or any module at no additional cost to ensure you pass the Ministry examination.

BST – Learning Options
Ontario Basic Security Guard Training (BST) – Classroom Program: ($175)
Our Basic Security Training (BST) program, conducted in-person, consists of 40 hours and accommodates various learning preferences. For individuals who favor organized and engaging learning environments, our in-class program serves as the perfect choice.
Aptitude Security Inc offers the BST course weekly, from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, at our Head Office located in Toronto. We are committed to aligning our course schedule with the needs of our clients, providing convenience and flexibility for all participants.


Ontario Basic Security Guard Training (BST) – Online Program: ($175)
Understanding that people have hectic schedules, our Online Basic Security Training course is structured to allow self-paced learning. To successfully complete the course, participants must finish all online modules, totaling around 32 hours of training. After completing the online modules, students must also attend an eight-hour First Aid / CPR Level C Certification course to gain essential skills for emergency situations. Our Online BST course offers a practical solution, enabling learners to integrate training into their personal schedules.
Emergency First Aid
At Aptitude Security Inc, we provide a comprehensive Emergency First Aid / CPR-C course that includes both online and face-to-face instruction. The in-person component is conducted in either Toronto or Mississauga, allowing participants to gain valuable practical experience.


Ministry Test and License Application
After successfully completing our BST program, the team administrator will assist you in arranging the Ministry test and will guide you through the license application process. We are committed to making this process easier for our learners, ensuring they receive support from our team at every stage.
